Activate ESET Cyber Security Pro

  1. After the installation, you will receive System Extension Blocked system notification. Allow system extensions for your ESET product for Mac.

  2. After allowing system extensions, you need to allow your ESET product to add proxy configurations for Web access protection to work. Click Allow. This option is required by Apple to increase your protection.

  3. After allowing system extensions, you will receive Your computer is not protected notification from your ESET product. You need to allow your ESET product access to user protected data to receive full protection. Allow full disk access for your ESET product for macOS.

  4. In the License Key field, type or copy/paste your License Key and click Activate. If the activation window does not open automatically, in the menu bar, click the  or  icon. Select Open ESET Cyber Security or ESET Cyber Security Pro and click Activate.

    If you do not have a License Key or did not receive an email with license information following your purchase, you can retrieve your license information.

  5. If your credentials were entered correctly, you will see the Activation was successful screen. Click Done to complete your activation. Your product will now automatically begin downloading the latest modules update.

  6. In the New network connection detected window, select the check box next to Remember network, select your preferred Profile from the drop-down menu and click OK.

    7. If you are performing this installation in an office or home environment on a secure network, select Home or Office. Only select Public if you are traveling with your client computer and ESET Cyber Security Pro detects a new network.

Activate ESET Internet Security

  1. After the Installation Wizard appears, Click Skip login.

  2. Click Use a purchased License Key. If you do not have a license key yet, click Skip activation in the bottom right corner.

  3. Type or copy/paste in your license key, click Continue and complete these installation steps.

  4. Click Continue. You have the option to select a different product during or after installation.

  5. Click Done to exit the Installation Wizard.

  6. ESET Internet Security is now installed and fully functional. You will be prompted to enable additional ESET security tools. You can set up Parental Control and Anti-Theft.


Your ESET product will automatically use your computer's Windows network setting to determine if you are using a public or a home or office network to determine the appropriate firewall protection levels. To change your firewall protection level for a given network, visit Change network connection firewall setting in ESET Windows home products.

​​Activate premium features in ESET Mobile Security for Android

  1. Open ESET Mobile Security for Android.

  2. Tap the menu icon  in the top left corner of the screen to bring up the context menu and tap License.

  3. Tap Enter a License Key.

  4. Type your License Key (hyphens are added automatically) and tap Activate.

  5. Tap Finish. Your license is activated and premium features are now available.

  6. When ESET Mobile Security is activated, configure Anti-Theft protection and add a Trusted Friend to your device. You can use your enabled Anti-Theft account and a Trusted friend's phone to help you reset your Security password and restore access to your device if you forget or lose your Security password.

Download and install ESET Mobile Security for Android

  1. Using your Android device, open the Google Play app and search for ESET Mobile Security. You can also visit the Google Play store using your computer and trigger your product to download to your device remotely.

  2. Tap Install.

  3. Tap Open when the installation is complete.

  4. Select your desired country and language and tap Next. By tapping Next, you agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement.

  5. Select your preference for ESET LiveGrid, the analytics, marketing data and ESET news and then tap Next.

  6. Tap Skip

  7. Tap Continue.

  8. Tap ESET Mobile Security.

  9. Tap the toggle next to Allow access to all files.

  10. The Start-up Wizard is complete. Tap Start first scan.

Download and install ESET Cyber Security Pro

  1. Uninstall any previously installed antivirus software on your system.

  2. Download version 6 of ESET Cyber Security Pro and double-click the appropriate installer file to begin the installation.

  3. Double-click the Install icon.

  4. Click Allow to launch the Installation Wizard.

  5. Click Continue.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. Click Continue → Agree.

  8. Click Continue. We recommend you install the latest version if you are notified one is available.

  9. Select an Installation mode and click Continue.

  10. Select your preference for ESET LiveGrid and click Continue.

  11. Select your Potentially Unwanted Applications preference and click Continue.

  12. Click Install.

  13. When prompted, type your administrator Name and Password and click Install Software.

  14. The installation may take a few minutes to complete. When The installation was successful screen displays, click Close.

    System Extension Blocked notification
